ARDUINO ON MAC OSX

1. Use BAFO USB2SERIAL Converter. Installed driver. You can check installation using a normal PC and ZTERM program for MAC. (see other mail related to MAC)

Install Arduino. Select serial port from selection. There may be two options 

dev/tty/usbserial

dev/cu/usbserial

select dev/cu/usbserial. This does not look for hardware signal for handshake. 

 

2. Arduino on MAC works in 32 bit. To open application in 32 bit, press CTRL and left click on icon and select GET INFO.

Under get info, there is a box named as "Open in 32 bit Mode" check that box.
